Infrastructure Consenting

This approach builds up a structured and phased Consenting Strategy for core infrastructure development, from early feasibility through to the submission of applications and the securing of requisite consents.

Infrastructure Consenting interweaves the requirements of the development with the statutory and regulatory frameworks that govern it — identifying the applicable consenting regimes, the determining authorities and prescribed bodies, the required application documentation, and the programme of statutory timeframes and decision windows that shape the overall project trajectory.

The outcome is a consenting strategy that is robust, defensible and aligned to the development programme, addressing the full suite of environmental, technical and planning assessments required, the management of consultation and engagement obligations, and the identification of alternative pathways through the consenting process where required.

Infrastructure Consenting thereby allows the project to progress through its statutory approvals in a timely and efficient manner, anticipating regulatory requirements and risk at the earliest stage, and ensuring that consents are secured in a manner that supports subsequent construction and delivery.
